In 1973, Mr Iain Kennedy who was an employee with the business, bought the company and for the next 27 years he diligently served the local community with real affection and dedication. His sense of humour and his gentle banter endeared him to all he met and this ability to put people at ease, was fundamental in his role as a funeral undertaker.

Iain was also a very skilled joiner and enjoyed this side of the business as well.
